If you have finally decided to set up a Wordpress blog, then installing Wordpress might be a issue for you. The installation is simple and easy, read the steps and give it a try.

I will tell you about two ways of installing Wordpress on your server.

a). Installing Wordpress with Fantastico De Luxe or semi – automatic Wordpress installation.

1. Go to your cpanel.
2. Open Fantastico De Luxe.
3. Click on Wordpress.
4. Click on New Installation.
5. Fill out the simple form.

Your wordpress blog is ready, you can customize it now.

b). Installing Wordpress manually.

1. Download the latest version of wordpress from wordpress.org.
2. Go to your cpanel-MySQL Database.
3. Create a new MySQL Database.
4. Create a new MySQL User.
5. Add the user to the database and give all privileges to the user.
6. Go to File Manager in your cpanel.
7. Rename the file wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php.
8. Edit the file wp-config.php to fill in your database information.
9. Fill in the MySQL database name, MySQL user name and MySQL user password.
10. Open *********.com/wp-admin/install.php and fill the admin username and password.

Note: Please replace *********.com with your website/blog name.
