Ans. Again, there are different ways of doing that, a plugin named WP-CopyProtect works good. It allows you to disable right click or to disable selection, or you can disable both. But people can still copy your content from RSS Feeds, so do remember to show only the summary in RSS feeds.

To show only the summary, open http://www.*yourblog.com*/wp-admin/options-reading.php Go to “For each article in a feed, show”, select SUMMARY and save changes.

a). How to get rid of spam comments?
Set up Akismet and it will take care of the spam comments.

b). How to set up Akismet?
First of all let me introduce to Akismet, it is a wordpress plugin which is used to get rid of spam comments. Akismet is there in the wordpress plugins by default, and once it is activated, it will keep bugging you to enter API key (as shown below).

Setting up Akismet is a simple task. Let me tell you how to set up Akismet.
- Open www.wordpress.com
- Register there. (Or Login if you have an account with Wordpress.com).
- Enter in your Wordpress.com account.
- Open http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/profile.php
- There you will find your Wordpress API Key.
- Enter that API Key in the Akismet, Save changes and you are done.

Q.4. How to change Avatar?
Ans. You can change Avatar from Gravatar.com, it will give you a globally recognized avatar.

Q.5. How to set up Time Zone in Wordpress Blogs?
Ans. To set your Time Zone in Wordpress:
- Open http://www.*yourblog.com*/wp-admin/options-general.php
- Go to Time Zone and choose the city which is in the same time zone as you.
- Save Changes.

AW Stats is really very helpful in tracking your website traffic. It can really help you out with the traffic.

I love to check my website’s traffic daily, but I really got sick when I used to find out that the stats have not been updated yet. So I just found a solution for updating them manually and I would like to share it with all of you.

Well, its really simple, let me tell you how to do that.

- Open your cpanel.
- Go to File Manager.
- Now go to /tmp/awstats.
- Find the configuration file of your website, it would be something like awstats.yoursite.com.conf.
- Open that file with your editor and find this AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=0.
- Change AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=0 to AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1.
- Save Changes.

After changing 0 to 1, you will see a button “Update Now” on the report page. The report page is the page where you see the stats. You can simply click that “Update Now” button to update your stats instantly.
