Today, Google is celebrating Makar Sakranti by displaying a Kite’s logo on Google.co.in. On this festival, people pray to the Sun God and ask for the blessings.

People living in different parts of India celebrate the festival differently but most of the people celebrate this festival by flying different types of Kite.

Mauratius people also celebrate this festival with equal joy and happiness.
