I have seen bloggers who update their blogs daily with new and good content, but still they are not able to express all their feelings in their words. I found a solution to this, adding yahoo emoticons can be a good way to express the feelings.

As you know, a lot of people are familiar with Yahoo messenger Emoticons, if you add it to your blog, it can give your blog a more friendly look and will make you more friendly with your readers. You can easily express your thoughts directly to your readers by using those emoticons.

I will tell you how to add these yahoo messenger smileys in your wordpress blog.

- Install a plugin “Yahoo Messenger Emoticons”.
- Upload the zip file in your plugins directory (wp-content/plugins).
- Extract or Unzip the zipped file.
- Open your wordpress blog admin panel and move to settings>writing (/wp-admin/options-writing.php)
- Uncheck “Convert emoticons like and to graphics on display”
- Activate the plugin.

And you are done… You can use yahoo messenger emoticons in posts, pages, comments etc. You can also use the yahoo messenger hidden smileys.

Is there any problem with your yahoo emoticons? You can’t see the yahoo emoticons?

Let me tell you that there are a lot of reasons which can create such a situation.

The simple solution is to reinstall yahoo messenger. If reinstalling yahoo messenger is not helping you out, then Internet Explorer might be the reason. Yes, you read it right Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Problem 1:
-If you have blocked images in your Internet Explorer then you can’t see the yahoo emoticons.

Solution 1:

-Open Internet Explorer.
-Go to Tools-Internet Options and move to the tab Advanced
-Tick Show Pictures.

So, it will unblock your images and then you will be able to see the yahoo emoticons.

Problem 2:
-Uninstalling Internet Explorer can create the same problem too.

Solution 2:
-Reinstall Internet Explorer.

Reinstalling Internet Explorer will get the rid of the problem.

If the problems are not fixed, then there might be some other problem, you can simply try reinstalling the Yahoo Messenger.
